Ah...summer..to quote Olaf...

"Oh, I don't know why, but I've always loved the idea of summer, and sun, and all things hot."

The weather is sunny and warmer as we move passed June 21 (1st official day of Summer) and head toward July August and even September, a busy month in Maine. Sitting on one of our rockers, looking out over the bay just steps from our front porch sipping on a cup of Joe, or maybe even sampling some wine from your visit to our award winning local winery, Cellardoor right here in Lincolnville. Sound Relaxing....it is. Come to Maine..better yet come visit us at Spouter Inn Bed and Breakfast and enjoy the best of what MidCoast Maine has to offer you.

March comes in like a lion....

Just when you thought Spring and warmer weather was just around the corner, March follows the well known rhyme....
" March comes in like a lion..."

The storm of March 7 & 8, 2018 left its mark across Maine and most of the northeast. A foot or more of heavy packed snow required more than one day to remove it and make roads, sidewalks, and other passageways navigable. Yet the day after, the sun is shining and the remnants of fun with this snow remains, for how long....we really do not know.

Welcome Back.....

Welcome back to our blog....
The trials and tribulations, the benefits and backlog of running an inn along MidCoast Maine during the summer was truly an experience as many had told us it would be. Our business brought us so many guests from all over the world, so many conversations and interesting tidbits gained for posterity.

Of course, time flew by in the blink of an eye with long days and shorts rests, the changing of linens and our continuous cleaning of the Inn, and our multitude of visitors did enjoy the opportunity to relax and rest. Whether it was sunning themselves at Lincolnville Beach across from our Inn, or simply enjoying their favorite beverage in one of our eight rocking chairs on the front porch watching the sun rising over Islesboro, the tide coming in and eventually receding, appreciating a rainbow over Lincolnville Beach,

or on those occasional nights when the moon was full of brightness and color, our guests felt they had made the right choice coming to Spouter Inn Bed and Breakfast for their getaway, for their vacation, or just as a stop along the way in their travels.

With warmer temperatures but three months away, now is a good time to decide when you wish to come visit us at Lincolnville Beach here at Spouter Inn Bed & Breakfast.

We will be open beginning May 4, 2018 and can't wait to have you come visit.

Spouter Inn B&B: Lincolnville Beach is buzzing !!

Sitting on the front porch of Spouter Inn B&B and watching the many cars stop and park at Lincolnville Beach, kids emptying out of the cars, and parents struggling to carry, pails, shovels, towels, and so on can only mean one thing....school is out and Summer is here. Summer officially arrived on June 21, 2017 at 12:24 AM !! High-pitched screams of young children pierce the air as they run through the water and what constitutes "waves". Even at high tide, the bay remains relatively calm. This spot at Lincolnville Beach is the only location along Route 1 from Maine to Florida where the road meets the coast. Other locations find Rt 1A or Rt 1C touching the shore along the length of US One. The sandy beach interrupts the "accepted" rocky coastline of MidCoast Maine for just over a quarter mile stretch. We have a rocking chairs waiting for you and the beach is just steps away here at Spouter Inn Bed &Breakfast at Lincolnville Beach. Book your vacation getaway TODAY !!!
